Vladimir Georgievich Turaev (em russo: Владимир Георгиевич Тураев, 1954) é um matemático russo.

Turaev obteve em 1979 no Instituto de Matemática Steklov o grau de Candidato de Ciências, orientado por Oleg Viro.[1] Turaev foi professor da Universidade de Estrasburgo e depois da Universidade de Indiana. Em 2016 foi eleito fellow da American Mathematical Society.

Foi palestrante convidado do Congresso Internacional de Matemáticos em Quioto (1990: State sum models in low dimensional topology).[2]
