Kathoey
Kedi (Jawi: كديcode: ms is deprecated ) atau kedik (Jawi: كديقcode: ms is deprecated [1]) istilah digunakan masyarakat tertentu se-Nusantara termasuk orang Melayu, Jawa dan Bali sejauh Sulawesi merujuk kepada seseorang berpenampilan tidak serupa gender yang dikenalkan kepadanya terutamanya transpuan atau waria.[2] Ia ada kaitan dengan kathoey atau katoey (Bahasa Thai: กะเทยcode: th is deprecated ; RTGS: kathoei [kàtʰɤːj]; Khmer: ខ្ទើយ, rumi: khtəəycode: km is deprecated ) yang mengacu kepada individu sama serta lelaki gay feminin dalam masyarakat Indochina terutamanya di Thailand dan Kemboja; tetapi kathoey pula diterima khalayak sana baik merangkum gender ketiga yang luar diduduki banyak kathoey sendiri ataupun dilihat sebagai jenis lelaki atau wanita.[3]
