«Day after day they send my friends away
To mansions cold and grey to the far side of town
Where the thin men stalk the streets
While the sane stay underground»
«Giorno dopo giorno mandano via i miei amici
All the Madmen è un brano musicale scritto dall'artista inglese David Bowie, seconda traccia dell'album The Man Who Sold the World del 1970.
«C'è una traccia in The Man Who Sold the World basata su mio fratello, si intitola All The Madmen.»
(David Bowie, marzo 1973.[6])
«'Cause I'd rather stay here with all the madmen
Than perish with the sadmen roaming free»
