Gliese 876 e adalah exoplanet yang mengorbit bintang Gliese 876 di konstelasi Aquarius. Itu dalam 1:2:4 Resonansi Laplace dengan planet-planet Gliese 876 c dan Gliese 876 b: untuk setiap orbit planet e, planet b menyelesaikan dua orbit dan planet c menyelesaikan empat. Konfigurasi ini adalah contoh kedua yang diketahui dari resonansi Laplace setelah bulan Jupiter Io, Europa dan Ganymede.[1] Orbitnya membutuhkan waktu 124 hari untuk diselesaikan.

Gliese 876 e memiliki massa yang mirip dengan massa planet Uranus. Orbitnya membutuhkan waktu 124 hari untuk diselesaikan, atau kira-kira sepertiga dari setahun. Sementara periode orbit lebih lama dari Merkurius di sekitar Matahari, massa yang lebih rendah dari bintang induk relatif terhadap Matahari berarti orbit planet memiliki sumbu semi-mayor yang sedikit lebih kecil. Tidak seperti Merkurius, Gliese 876 e memiliki orbit yang hampir melingkar dengan eksentrisitas 0,055 ± 0,012.[1] Planet ini, seperti b dan c, kemungkinan telah bermigrasi ke dalam.[2]
