La NASCAR Cup Series 2024 es la temporada 76 de las carreras de autos stock profesionales de NASCAR en los Estados Unidos y la 53.a temporada de la Cup Series de la era moderna. La pretemporada comenzó con el Busch Light Clash el 3 de febrero en el Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Al Choque le seguirían las carreras de clasificación de Bluegreen Vacations Duel el 15 de febrero. La temporada iniciaría oficialmente la 66ª edición de las 500 Millas de Daytona (la primera carrera por puntos de la temporada) el 19 de febrero, ambas en el Daytona International Speedway. La temporada terminará con la carrera por el campeonato de la NASCAR Cup Series en Phoenix Raceway el 10 de noviembre.
Esta será la primera temporada sin Kevin Harvick desde 2000, ya que se retiró después de la temporada 2023 y se unirá a la cabina de transmisión de NASCAR en Fox en 2024, y la primera temporada desde 2011 sin Aric Almirola, quien se alejó de las carreras a tiempo completo después la temporada 2023. Cambios en el reglamento
- Los coche de la Cup Series ejecutarán un nuevo paquete aerodinámico en todos los circuitos y pistas que midan una milla o menos (excepto Bristol Motor Speedway y Dover Motor Speedway). El paquete consta de un alerón de tres pulgadas, un difusor simplificado y travesaños del difusor, embutidores divisores de pista corta/carretera con especificaciones 2023 y sin travesaños en el panel del motor.

Sumario de Temporada
Temporada Regular
Ronda 1: 500 Millas de Daytona
Las 500 Millas de Daytona se trasladaron del domingo 18 de febrero al lunes 19 de febrero debido a la lluvia. Joey Logano comenzaría desde la pole. En la vuelta 6, John Hunter Nemechek se toparía con Harrison Burton, reuniendo a Carson Hocevar, Kaz Grala, Austin Dillon, Ryan Preece y Jimmie Johnson en el trióvalo. Desde el siguiente reinicio hasta la vuelta 191, la carrera estaría libre de incidentes ya que Chase Elliott ganaría la etapa 1 y Ryan Blaney la etapa 2. En la vuelta 191, cuando el campo entraba en la curva 3, William Byron convertiría a Brad Keselowski en la pared. Recolectando casi 20 autos en "The Big One". Con la bandera blanca, la victoria dependería de Byron y Alex Bowman, hasta que un accidente en la última vuelta que involucró a Ross Chastain y Austin Cindric terminaría la carrera bajo bandera amarilla. NASCAR dictaminó que Byron estaba por delante de Bowman cuando salió la bandera amarilla y aseguraría la victoria.
