Wuthering Heights (嵐が丘, Arashi ga oka) is a 1988 Japanese drama film directed by Yoshishige Yoshida. It is based on the novel of the same name by Emily Brontë,[1][2] set in medieval Japan.[2] Wuthering Heights was shown in competition at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival.[3]
