Workers and Entrepreneurs Party (Spanish: Partido de los Trabajadores y Emprendedores) is a Peruvian political party of which the vast majority its members are part of the Communist Party of Peru - Red Fatherland.[1] Founded in April 2023, the party is led by Napoleón Becerra García, a left-wing perennial candidate.[2]
Among the party's most prominent members are historical former left-wing parliamentarians Rolando Breña Pantoja and César Barrera Bazán.[3]
The party is projected to participate in the 2026 general election.[4]

On Tuesday, a new leftist project, the Workers and Entrepreneurs Party (PTE), a confluence of which Patria Roja is a part, was presented in society. Manuel Guerra informed that at least half of the National Executive Committee is made up of its militants. "We have worked for more than a year to achieve its official registration", he commented.

The founder and president of the Partido de los Trabajadores y Emprendedores (PTE) is Napoleón Becerra García, who has run unsuccessfully since 1995 under different political shirts and for different positions. The first party with which he ran for Congress in 1995 was the United Left. Precisely from that party he has managed to affiliate leftist figures who were successful in the elections, such as Rolando Breña Pantoja and César Barrera Bazán, as this newspaper was able to corroborate in the register of affiliates. This party achieved its registration in April 2024.
