Tharmada
Town in Saudi Arabia
Tharmada (Arabic: ثرمداء [ALA-LC: Tharmadāʼ]) is a Saudi Arabian town, located about 170 kilometers north of the capital Riyadh.
Naming
The town is named after the plant Altharmad (Halexylon Salicornicum) which abounds in the region.
