Sorkh Qaleh Rural District (Persian: دهستان سرخ قلعه) is in the Central District of Qaleh Ganj County, Kerman province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Sorkh Qaleh.[4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 19,860 in 4,220 households.[5] There were 21,171 inhabitants in 5,319 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 21,789 in 5,819 households. The most populous of its 69 villages was Ahugan, with 1,219 people.[2]
