Sarso Island

Approximate location of Farasan IslandsSarso Island is an island off the coast of Saudi Arabia. It is part of the Farasan Islands. It is located in the Red Sea at 16°30′N 41°21′E / 16.50°N 41.35°E / 16.50; 41.35. In the 15th century, there was a recognised navigation route to the west of the island. its size is about 22.6 square kilometres (8.7 square miles)
