Samunge is an administrative ward in the Ngorongoro District of the Arusha Region of Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 147.1 km2 (56.8 sq mi),[1] and has an average elevation of 1,572 m (5,157 ft).[2] According to the 2012 census, the ward has a total population of 6,579.[3]
