Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng Football Club (Khmer: ក្លឹបបាល់ទាត់ព្រះខ័នរាជស្វាយរៀង) is a professional football club based in Krong Svay Rieng, Svay Rieng province, that plays in the Cambodian Premier League.[1] The club have won 3 league titles and a record of 5 Hun Sen Cup.

History

The club was founded in 1997 by H.E. General Sao Sokha, and was originally based in the capital Phnom Penh, under the name Preah Khan Reach Football Club. In 2013 H.E. Dy Vichea became owner of the club. The club was renamed Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, when the decision was made to relocate to Svay Rieng, Vichea’s home province.

In 2020, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng qualified to the 2020 AFC Cup after winning the 2019 C-League but halfway throughout the tournament, the AFC Cup was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.


Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng then participate in the recently revived tournament, the 2024–25 ASEAN Club Championship via qualifying play-offs against Laotian club Young Elephants. The club went on to win 3–8 on aggregate thus qualifying to the group stage being placed alongside Indonesian club PSM Makassar, Vietnamese club Đông Á Thanh Hóa, Malaysian club Terengganu, Thailand club BG Pathum United and Myanmar Shan United. On 21 August 2024, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng faced Terengganu at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium where the club get a shocking win against the Malaysian side winning them 3–2.
