North Palmyra Township (T12N R8W) is located in Macoupin County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 854 and it contained 388 housing units.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.23 square miles (93.8 km2), of which 36.17 square miles (93.7 km2) (or 99.83%) is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 km2) (or 0.17%) is water.[2]
