2024: Major, WTA 1000 debuts and first win, WTA 500 quarterfinal, top 130

It was her first Top 20 win of her career. She also became the first wildcard entry to reach the quarterfinals in Guadalajara and the fourth Canadian to make a WTA 500 quarterfinal (joining Eugenie Bouchard, Leylah Fernandez and Aleksandra Wozniak).
