Part of	KTLA is the army of the Government of Kawthoolei (G.O.K) which was created later in 03/11/2023 so that army is under political control of the G.O.K. Whose President is Saw Nerdah Bomya & Vice Presidents Saw Hsar Gay Po & Saw David Thackerbarw.

The Kawthoolei Army^[2]^[1] (Burmese: ကော်သူးလေတပ်မတော်; abbr. KTLA) is a militant and separatist group in Myanmar, split from Karen National Union.

In April 2023, the KTLA launched an offensive against the Kayin State BGF in Shwe Kokko, forcing over 10,000 people to flee into Thailand.^[3]
