Isa Kahraman (born 1 April 1974) is a Turkish-born Dutch politician from the New Social Contract who was elected to the Dutch Parliament in the 2023 Dutch general election. He serves as his party's spokesperson for defense, veterans, development cooperation, and foreign religious minorities.[1] He is of Syriac Aramean origin, and he lives in Rijssen.[2][3]
He filed a motion in March 2024 to postpone talks with Bosnia and Herzegovina about a potential accession to the European Union. The motion lost by a narrow margin, while Prime Minister Mark Rutte had indicated in advance that he would not veto the talks to avoid alienating the Netherlands within the organization.[4]
