Greater Manchester bus route 103 operates in Greater Manchester between Manchester Airport and Manchester Piccadilly Gardens bus station. It shares the same termini with route 43, but providing a less frequent operation and serving totally different locations of southern part of Manchester comparing to the 43. The 103 also has a sister route, which is the 102 operating between Southern Cemetery and Manchester Piccadilly Gardens bus station.
History
Route 103 is one of many "Skyline" links that connect various places to Manchester Airport. Prior to 2007 it operates half-hourly during the day, but on 2 September 2007 a night service was introduced, with hourly operation due to popular demand for a night link.[1][2][3]
