Farini (Piacentino: I Farëin or I Farén) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) west of Bologna and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southwest of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,744 and an area of 112.0 square kilometres (43.2 sq mi).[3] In September 2015, Farini suffered a major flood due to heavy rain.[4]
Farini borders the following municipalities: Bardi, Bettola, Coli, Ferriere, Morfasso.
