Bażany

50°51′N 18°11′E / 50.850°N 18.183°E / 50.850; 18.183Bażany [baˈʐanɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kluczbork, within Kluczbork County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) south of Kluczbork and 27 km (17 mi) north-east of the regional capital Opole.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word bażant, which means "pheasant".[2]
