The 2025 Rose Bowl (officially known as the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the 2025 Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential for sponsorship reasons) is a college football bowl game that is scheduled to be played on January 1, 2025, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The 111th annual Rose Bowl game will be one of the playoff quarterfinals and will feature two of the playoff teams. The game is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. PST. The Rose Bowl will be one of the 2024–25 bowl games concluding the 2024 FBS football season and the winner will advance to the college football playoff semifinals.[1][2]
Teams
The game will feature two College football playoff teams, one of the 4 highest ranked conference champions who will receive a bye to the quarterfinals and a winner of a college football playoff first round game. The winner will advance to face another quarterfinal winner in the 2025 Orange Bowl or 2025 Cotton Bowl Classic in the College Football Playoff semi-finals.

Hall of Fame
The 2024 Rose Bowl Hall of Fame class: Reggie Bush, USC; Mark Dantonio, Michigan State; LaMichael James, Oregon. The induction ceremony will be held prior to the Rose Bowl game on December 31, 2024 in Pasadena and on the field during the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal on January 1, 2025.
