The 2024–25 II liga (also known as Betclic II liga for sponsorship reasons)[1] is the 77th season of the third tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1948 and the 17th season of the Polish II liga under its current title. The league is operated by the Polish Football Association.

The league is contested by 18 teams. The regular season is played in a round-robin tournament. The season will start in July 2024 and will conclude in May 2025 (regular season). From this season onwards, promotion/relegation play-offs will be played, with teams placed 13th and 14th facing two second-placed teams from the III liga.[2]

Promotion play-offs

The promotion play-offs will be played on 11 and 15 June 2025. The teams who finished in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th place are set to compete. The fixtures are determined by final league position – 3rd team of the regular season will play against 6th team of the regular season and 4th team of the regular season will play against 5th team of the regular season. The winner of the final match will be promoted to the I liga for the 2025–26 season. All matches will be played in a stadiums of team which occupied higher position in the regular season.[3][5]

Relegation play-offs

The relegation play-offs will be played on 11, 15 and 18 June 2025. Besides the teams who finished the regular season in 13th and 14th place, each team who finished III liga group in 2nd place is set to compete. The semi-finals will be played by III liga teams. The winners of the semi-finals will be advanced to the relegation play-offs final where they compete II liga teams. The winner of the final match will play in II liga next season. The fixtures will be determined by a draw. The final matches will be hosted by the winners of the semi-finals.[3][5]
