Haplotaxodon microlepis és una espècie de peix de la família dels cíclids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.
Morfologia
- Els mascles poden assolir 26 cm de longitud total.[1][2]
Alimentació
Menja zooplàncton.[3]
Depredadors
És depredat per Perissodus microlepis[4] i Plecodus straeleni.[5][6]
Hàbitat
És una espècie de clima tropical entre 23 °C-28 °C de temperatura.[7][1]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a Àfrica: llac Tanganyika.[1][8][9][10]
